I fell in love with the whole thing, even though it was tough as a first webnovel, because of the world-building, the setting, the wording. If you're a historical/fantasy fan, go give it a read! The romance is so on point
Just three chapters, but at least you can enjoy the view for a bit, I guess. There is a donghua as well, but it's obviously not accurate and the animation wasn't really my cup of tea. Check it up online if you're interested!

The manhua sadly got dropped and there is no other visual adaptation. It's not one of my favourite but the world-building totally kept me hooked.

Hua Cheng is the yearning final boss. I feel butterflies everytime I think of the two of them. It's not a perfect work, and I know many think of it as overrated. But MXTX's world-building, the dynamics she creates etc. really just makes me feel something. I recommend both the manhua and the donghua for this one. Both accurate enough.

I spent some money to read this one. I think it's one of the most interesting and heartwarming stories I put my eyes on + it's intriguing from someone who's spent her adolescence fangirling over bts (still am)
