Actual historical based fiction and/or Non-romantasy historical fiction with female leads

super good! Pacing can be a bit off sometimes but overall great

-I truly hated the end stretch, plus I heard the ml was deplorable in the original novel. Too much angst for me, but it was interesting to see the conflicts between internal, external, romantic love and honor, etc. never reading this again though.

-impeccable read

-some parts feel a bit dragged but I absolutely recommend reading

-this felt like a rollercoaster, I am kept at the edge of my seat with every turn of the page

-a favorite of mine which is stupid because it’s not great at all but it issssss give it a chance

-good read, although tragic ending

-interesting read!! Though some parts get reallllly weird and uncomfy, but still good series nonetheless

-absolutely spectacular, give it a read

-I mean like sure to a degree but it’s almost as if this is torture corn, like the mc suffers all the time and there is so much unnecessary sexual assault--like yes it’s realistic but why is it in every other chapter?
