a slow start, and then an absolute hell of a ride. if youre an artist, have ever struggled with art, or even just like art, youre going to have a lot of fun and feelings with this one. theres toxic age gap yaoi but you gotta be patient and trust the process. an absolute masterclass in set up and payoff, and a yaoi that can for real change your perspective about art and love
complete convention breaker. this comic is about court politics in a way id never seen before. the art is beautiful and the characters vivid. a young man is fucking up his own life, and an older gentleman is fucking up other’s lives. i love this story and its intersections between self destruction and social safety. wow
asada nemui brings a genuinely refreshing take on the zombie genre. a story about a scientist and his creation and all the trials that come with trying to achieve perfection while struggling to even stay alive. this one goes crazy with the somber themes but is just as cheeky
this story handles unconventional kink and fetish in such a masterful way i think it could cater to anybody with at least a passing interest in the taboo. once you get past the (very hot) sex though, the characters are so likeable and fun you wont even notice the time pass by while reading. it was a really refreshing read and ill always love a story that handles its sex so maturely while treating the characters like fools
funny, bright, and hopeful is how i would describe this one. mr perfect struggles to find someone that piques his interest, until some thugs on the street get a beating from a guy whose apparent hobby is saving people. the story doesnt take itself too seriously which is perfect. however behind all that sillyness theres a really honest story about 2 people who see it unlikely to find love for themselves coming closer together. it makes me feel like everything will be ok
heart-wrenching and life-changing. two people meet at really low points of their lives and have to find a way out of the ditch while trying to protect themselves from further hurt. an unlikely partnership but one that becomes so crucial to their survival it makes them love again. very angsty and heavy but one of the sweetest stories ive read
the best way i can describe this one is vivid. you know when a story feels so real you start believing you know these people. a story about youth and desires and what you miss out on when you dont know yourself or the world. this story handles its gay themes so delicately it made me cry out of grief for my own coming out. its about community and love and finding oneself and how its never too late. its beautiful
moscareto and okdong outdid themselves with this one!!! my favorite out of all their collab stories. a vet finds himself at a loss when the lizard he rescued turns out to be a clueless dragon on a mission to find his one weakness. the art is super expressive and adorable, and the story is funny, fun, and heartwarming. its such a lighthearted read it brightened my whole week when i finished it
an absolute classic and possibly the funniest manhwa ive read. moscareto and okdong bring their A+ GAME to this one. the art is polished but expressive and cute, and the writing is fun, snappy, and hardhitting. maybe thats why it has punch in the name? lol. i love this comic so much i bought a physical copy when i was in nyc. softhearted but packs a ton of feelings in it
