so much to say about this one..... mc's hopelessness, the way he channels ml's emotions, how far the ml will go to keep the mc safe even at the expense of the worlds peace, the lifelong consequences of their fight with the government people..... how mc was manipulated and led to believe that he was useless and fell so fast for the other dude.... This is some.good literature
I didn't think the mc had much personality but the reveal that the ml had been groundhog day and stuck all alone was really sad. It makes his initial attraction to the mc unwholesome but in a good way
I didn't love this as much as I did the others on this list but the mcs characterization and his reserved personality and lack of self confidence were sad
mc dudes history with his dead brother and mom were already sad enough, like he caused his brother's death and his mom's indirectly, and then went to jail ... Like his coming out and trying to be a better person even though he's all alone is really sad. And then there's the bunny head costume fuck scene, that shit broke my heart
I hadn't realized how awful the long hair guy was the first time I read this. A lot of bl normalizes and romanticizes rape without any narrative punishment, so it's both refreshing and sad to see how much it messes up mc. The evil seme is so violent and uncaring in a way that feels icky which I like
mcs mental decline... I didn't read it super carefully so idk if it was well done but it was sad
