University employee Ryouichirou ends up having to take in a young native islander named Qaltaqa. While teaching him how to function in a developed country, Ryouichirou ends up falling for this strange foreigner.
It's a very pure and heartwarming story about how people from two completely different worlds can fall in love. I'm not exactly sure why, but this is my favorite BL manga. It's funny, unique, endearing, and artistically beautiful.
King's Maker, a web manhwa, focuses on the bastard prince Wolfgang Goldenleonard who forms an alliance with his father's favorite "servant", Soohyuk Shin, in order to be made into a king himself one day.
This manhwa is beautiful and the presentation is overall very artistic and almost cinematic. The main characters are very likeable and their relationship dynamic is interesting and unusual. A must read and I can't wait for the rest to come out.
A guitarist named Uenoyama meets a quiet classmate named Mafuyu whose singing voice compels Uenoyama to ask him to join the band. Unfortunately, Mafuyu has a dark past that holds back his potential and ability to form close relationships.
Kizu Natsuki/Gusari is one of my all-time favorite artists, so the art in Given is a worth a read in and of itself. On top of that, the story is heart-wrenching and beautiful. A must-read.
High school story about two opposite personalities who are in love.
This has always been one of my favorite manga. It's unique and pure.
19 days, a web manhua, focuses on the relationship between two childhood friends, Jian Yi and Zheng Xi. Their friendship begins to change over time as Jian Yi's unrequited feelings towards Zheng Xi begin to come to the surface.
This manhua is great because it's unconventional, funny, and cute. It's slow-burning, but you'll find you read it more for the characters than just the romance. Captures the vulgarity of teen boys very well.
After attending a sake appreciation club at his university in an effort to meet girls, virgin Yamamoto winds up getting drunk and being cared for by Kobayashi, another club member. Kobayashi admits that he is also a virgin, but not because of his looks or personality - because he has a huge penis.
The premise of this manga sounds really dumb and a lot of stupid things happen in it. But it's unexpectedly heartwarming and cute. It's just a feel-good type of story.
High school student Narasaki ends up watching the school library front desk alongside a delinquent named Terashima.
Most people have read this manga. I love the relationship dynamic between the seme and uke. The uke doesn't have annoying feminine qualities so it really feels like two high school boys in a relationship.
Takuma, Yuiji, and Yui are inseparable childhood friends...until Yui gets a boyfriend and the dynamic changes. However, this gives Takuma a chance to learn that Yuiji is in love with him, and he has to decide how to respond.
Fluffy and adorable, the fears and struggles of the characters are realistic and refreshing.
Kuma and Hachi have always been mortal enemies...until Kuma, an omega, goes into heat in front of Hachi, an alpha, and ends up getting marked by him.
Extremely good for an omegaverse BL. It doesn't take itself too seriously and it's really funny. I love the second couple too, possibly more than the first.
