This shit is so ass. I promise you it is not worth it. The male lead is an abusive piece of shit who is horrible to the main character but of course he falls for him regardless. Furthermore, he verbally abuses him, physically assaults him, and sexually assaults him numerous fucking times.
These two should not be together. Their attachment is unhealthy (as noted by the MC forgiving his partner raping someone because he can't live without him) and the ML's sexual assault goes unpunished. I felt like I was losing my mind because I was the only one on Bato calling out this bullshit. Gorgeous art, story is ass.
Overall, the only strengths of the story are the comedic juxtaposition between Mason and Haley’s personalities and the pretty art style. Its faults are the lack luster writing, the over reliance on sexual assault to keep its fujoshi gooner fanbase satisfied, the characters’ forced romance, and its inability to explain the characters’ actions and motives.
2/10, hated it. Would not recommend.
I hate this story. The main lead is way too pushy and his actions never have consequences. He is constantly lying to the MC and gets away with it unscathed. He doesn’t listen to his partner (especially not during sex) and this is never addressed or changed. These two should not be together. This yet another story of coercion being rewarded. Also they have sex way too much. Jesus it never ends with them. Overall, I genuinely hate this story. 1/10 would not recommend.
This is quite actually one of the worst stories I have ever read. The main lead rapes the main character and only stops when the MC is crying to much that the lead is “no longer having fun”. So much rape and codependency. 1/10 Don’t read it. There are literally so many good stories you could be reading instead.
The ML is incredibly manipulative and uses everyone around him as pawns in order to get the main character to fall for him, regardless of the cost. He actively manipulates his brother and his brother’s feelings for the main character all while having this sense of entitlement simply because he liked the main character first. Additionally, the main character forgives him for everything in the end because “I can’t stop thinking about him so that must mean I love him. 3/10 wouldn't recommend.
The ML has zero regard for the MC’s feelings. He never listens to him. He constantly hastens him if the MC tries to break up with him. He crosses his boundaries and tries to guilt trip him! Nothing about this is a romance that I want to root for. It just feels like the MC is trapped but got Stockholm syndrome in the process. Horrible. The narration tries to play the ML’s actions for comedy but it just doesn't work. That’s a no from me. 2/10 only gets points for the premise.
