Seme Insanity

Introducing Naruse Fuuta, one of the sexiest sadistic semes around. Devil with an angel face. Despite the age of the seme and the uke in this story it starts out giving you all the action. It is hilarious watching poor Akiyoshi try to get out of the relationship. Fuuta's logic when it comes to Akiyoshi, despite his obvious intelligence, is questionable. He wants, therefore he takes. He likes, therefore it belongs to him. Somehow it works, and kept me clicking all the way through to the end!

Found this to follow the usual format of leverage being used to blackmail the uke into having sex. However, that's what I love about the predictability of most BL stories. I found myself enjoying the progression of the story but wish it was a completed work. There were moments that made me feel for both main characters and ultimately found myself hoping things work out for them in the end. Definitely worth the read.

Seme has some jealous tendencies but not quite to the level of insanity I was looking for. The uke is too girly for me to take him seriously given his physique... I know, I know ukes come in all sizes, but I just didn't by the "I'm really a soft-hearted romantic hiding in a playboy's body" thing they tried to pull off. I'm not a big fan of this drawing style either but the seme was quite handsome.

Stories like this makes me wonder what makes people really tick. There was a moment where the seme totally went bat sh*t crazy as he was determined to not let the uke "runaway" again. There were a couple times that I laughed at the ensuing antics of the seme, especially when the uke tried flirting with a girl, but all in all it didn't hit me with the "WOW" factor that other mangas have in this genre.

Stepbrothers caught up in complicated feelings, unrequited love, and angst... sounds like yaoi to me! The sex scenes were too abbreviated for my liking, and the uke was too worried about everyone else's opinions for my taste. The backstory of the characters and the driving forces behind their motivations were a bit sad, but felt like they were just filler to justify the actions of the seme without addressing anything. Perhaps if the relationship had been developed it would have been better.

Meh... the seme was hot so there's that. A short manga about a resident who purchases a doll for a patient but somehow ends up having to pay for it with his body. The doll maker immediately falls for him, stalks him at work until he relents and moves in... It had it's moments but I probably won't read it again.

Adopted brothers. Seme falls in love with his older adopted brother and is obsessed with him. It's supposed to be sexy, but the drawing of the characters didn't emote the feelings they were supposed to and it came off creepy AF. This manga could have been great if the characters didn't look like they were making the same face... no matter what...

This story actually had me laughing. The seme reminds me a lot of Naruse Fuuta, but not as sexy. It was worth the read.

Midori... my word this is one gorgeous seme! Although he has been the uke's guardian from a small child it doesn't give you the pedo-creeps because this story takes place once he's at university. There is comedy relief as well so it doesn't take itself too seriously. I am looking forward to the continuation!

This story is more suited to a psychological control versus a physical control; however the seme uses his position as a psychologist to ingratiate himself into the uke's life and his body! I love a good sadist, especially one with an unexpected sweet side!
