Seme Insanity

Oh my d*mn, this story took me on so many emotional roller coasters. Seriously, if you trigger easily, be warned. There are a lot of rape scenes in here, like seriously this is not a light read. I felt like crying so many times, but the story itself is so good that I had to know how it all resolved itself. The seme in this story is terrifying because he could be anyone you know in real life. The uke's journey was so heartbreaking I just wanted to hold him and eat taiyaki together.

So um... they're blood related half-brothers, just putting that out there. The older brother forces himself on the younger one and starts cutting him as well. They are both being pressured to be the successor of the family so it's a battle of wills and strength. In the end I wasn't satisfied with the older brother's motivations but it wasn't a bad story all around.

Most semes are older than their ukes, but it's the reverse in this story. It was light and funny to read, and the side characters kept the story moving forward. The two characters as a standalone would have been too short but it's a good story if you're looking for something cute.

I loved this story and the drawing style, but can we just put the panels closer together? True the seme was borderline cruel in the beginning, true the uke was a bit too milquetoast in the beginning, but it served the dominant-submissive dynamic well. As in most D/s relationships it is the "s" that gives the "D" that missing bit of strength and love needed to redeem himself. I could read this over and over again. Loved all the characters!

Adopted brother Ren moves in, hilarity and stolen kisses ensues. Some people may have an issue with the age gap but since I've been dating older men my whole life it didn't bother me. If you take age out of it, it's a story of two lonely people finding happiness and fulfillment in one another. Haru is a true brocon, Ren is the perfect loli-brat, and Aki and Shima are satisfied as long as there is meat!

My first manhwa and my goodness it was a good one! The seme is hardcore jealous, possessive, and overprotective. He's basically the seme trifecta. Like the uke, he had a rough childhood but has grown to be powerful man. The sex is amazing, the connection between the two is tumultuous, but the story line kept me scrolling until the very end. Will definitely re-read this one!

Oh Fuuta... you wacky seme! Seriously, if you haven't read this go ahead and do yourself the favor. The entire Akuma series with Fuuta, Shouta, and Raita are good. Fuuta and Akiyoshi go together like a hand in glove... if you know what I mean. Akiyoshi just can't seem to stay out of trouble, and Fuuta being the good seme that he is, knows just how to punish him!

Shouta is overprotective of Hisashi who he has basically called dibs on since he was a young boy. This story is more about the insane methods Shouta uses to be close to Hisashi and the lengths he's willing to go to to make him his uke. Fuuta makes brief cameos.

Awww hurry up and finish this story... I was looking forward to reading Raita's story but it has yet to be continued. Of all three Naruse brothers, Raita struck me as the most intense. Perhaps it's his silent demeanor, hard gaze, or majestic air of confidence, or maybe it's the way even Fuuta and Shouta are afraid to make him angry... whatever it is, all I know is I want to find out!

Naruse and Akiyoshi at university... I was so glad they continued their story line. It'd be interesting to see them as adults, but I'll take this for now. Akiyoshi starts to party a little too hardy for Fuuta's liking and we all know what happens when the seme thinks his uke is straying too far from his watchful eye... Have read this multiple times but would still re-read it again!
