I really wanted to like this manhwa, but the art kept getting worse instead of better which was a shame. I probably will finish it eventually but eh.. not anytime soon.
Meh.
Couldn't stand the male lead, it was so hard to like him after he publically embarassed her by misunderstanding and rejecting her then suddenly tryna be all flirtatious with courting her afterwards because he realized he liked her... like I hate people that do mixed signals. Also got tired of all the support the Antagonist got from readers when she was targetting innocent people for her revenge, she messed up and she sucks. End of. Beautiful art though.
Not a fan of Rofan. I like tragedies but I didn't like how the female lead's death kept getting delayed/dragged nor did I like the fantasy element, it was doing too much.
Art style is too overstimulating and the plot was just too boring for me.
I just could never get into this story.. not sure why. Female lead does feel very Y/N coded looking back.
I can't stand the type of stories where the male lead ditches the female lead then drags her back to him, acting like nothing is wrong/awkward with that. I am also sick and tired of the "hiding your child from you" troupe, especially when it only endangers the child more if you hide it. Art is pretty but couldn't stand the romance between the female and male lead.
I really loved this story when it first came out but wasn't a fan of her befriending her ab*sive brother because he was "mistreated too." I kinda missed when they were looking for stone slabs to read, when they moved in together, the plot just kinda got boring for me..
I never liked how two faced the male lead was, I understood why but I just don't like characters like that. Simply not for me, was cool to see a strong female lead but the plot wasn't that interesting for me.
I hate hate hate stories that are so stupidly cliche like "I won't get involved with the plot and only watch from afar.. oh no, the entire cast have acknowledged me and clearly the original plot has changed.. but I'm still going to play dumb and assume it will follow the original course despite it clearly NOT," this story was just full of a lot of cliches that weren't for me.
