Cute read at the start but I hate plots where your raising the love interest.. she is technically an adult grooming him. I picked it up to read the past life angst and body swap, that arc was fun then dropped it again after the male lead knew the female lead had switched bodies.
Romance felt so forced for me, with all the children being like "marry my teacher/brother/whatever" like no, why couldn't we have her being independent for a while, why has it got to be that she NEEDS a man. Also wasn't a fan of the fantasy aspect, felt like a cheap/lazy way to give female lead everything she wants to sell without really working for it.
Cute read, I just eventually got bored with how many chapters it had. I expected a short story but it was surprisingly long, I also don't like love triangles/jealousy, the male lead getting jealous over his brother and the female lead hardly putting space between her and him was hard for me to suck up. It is cute, probably finish it when it's completed.
Not a bad story, just not really for me.
I was hoping she might forgive the King, he was wrong for what he said but he clearly changed and her real father wasn't a whole lot better but unfortunately, she fully leaves. Can't blame her but does make me feel bittersweet, was hard to finish reading after that, especially since the princess was possessed.
Dad was a scumbag. Male lead was grossily possessive, he liked teasing her when she was a slave and rather then simply apologizing once he knew the truth and knew she likely wouldn't like him.. he was just kinda weird. Female lead was a little too content with being a sl*ve, she was treated and trusted more like a servant honestly, real sl*ves were treated WAY WAY worse.
Plot was fun but I hate romances where the male lead only starts to like the female lead when she doesn't like him anymore, it's a classic "men want what they can't have" and it p*sses me off.
I was rooting for Yuri.. it was yuri bait instead.
Just wasn't for me. I dislike stories that overpack angst.
Funny at the first. It all went downhill for me when the brother had to pretend to die and he started race-swapping for half the story, also dislike when the female lead wins over the original love interests, gets corny very fast. I loved the original main character, she was such a breath of fresh air and I love that this story does at least acknowledge that yanderes SUCK, they ruin everything out of selfishness.
