[ONGOING, age gap, BL, slow burn, piano, professor/student relationship - but not weirdly done at all, I promise] 1000000/10

wow. simply fantastic. raised the bar so high that there will forever be a heart shaped hole in my chest that this has left me with. READ IT. the music aspect is also done so well.

[COMPLETED with a sequel, not BL, but the sequel has its undertones. short but comedic and lighthearted.] 9/10

a short read! I did read the sequel but I come back to this for old time’s sake :) very endearing!!!

so goooodd!!!! I’m a sucker for mangas that centre around a passion (etc arts, sports)!! this manga is incredibly entertaining with loveable, well written characters!! you feel the pride as the main character grows as well as all the pains that come with mastering a craft :) similarly, i felt the adrenaline and anxiety when it came to competitions…whew! what an excellent read!

this is one of my favourite mangas! the MC is very novel and fresh; very interesting, and the art is done very well to highlight the deeper themes of the manga. I would say here football is more so used as a means of showing the characters’ beliefs and actions rather than it being the centre of it? less technical skill based and more of ideals and worldviews, if that makes sense? an amazing read!

this got axed due to the author’s deplorable actions but omg. this was SO good!! I read it in 2021 along with Oahu no ko and adored every second of it. If you have time to spare (because this is discontinued) and want a quick good read with no closure this is it…I mourn what it could’ve been everyday

I’m obsessed!! art is wonderful and it’s just fluff fluff fluff!! characters are endearing and it’s very entertaining! the side characters have a spin off called hirano to kaguira and it’s really good too!

a nice read! MC is endearing, characters sufficiently fleshed out, wonderful art to accompany the music!! a story of growth. very well done!

people say it’s boring…but I disagree! I really like the slow pacing as it allows for the character’s inner thoughts to shine through every bit of her routine! characters are endearing and loveable and it’s entertaining; fit for a light enjoyable read :)
