Dooshik is the ultimate green flag seme, no matter how many times Jooha gives up, Dooshik is always there to catch him and give him hope. Beside having drop-dead gorgeous art and top-tier smut, the story handles heavy, complex themes while keeping their romance profoundly beautiful. Dooshik easily holds my #1 spot, and I doubt any top will ever beat him.
Wet Sand is easily one of the best noir BLs out there. I’m obsessed with the intense push-and-pull dynamic and character development. Beyond the love triangle, what I love most is its deep central theme: how hard it is to let go when you love someone, and how true love forces you to confront your own toxic traits to become better. The smut is filled w so much emotion, and the entire story is the absolute epitome of Sombr's "Back to Friends." A 10/10 masterclass in noir.
Dreadful Night is such a unique survival mystery BL! As a huge mystery fan, the horror game concept makes this so addicting. You feel like you're cracking the puzzles right alongside Pi Bada, who is super smart, strategic, and ridiculously pretty ((honestly, read it for his iconic pigtails, varied hairstyles, and top-tier horror game outfits!). Plus, Doha's weird, obsessive energy and the shocking plot twists keep you hooked. a must read if you love horror game bl, its just so unique!
Driver's High is a top-tier exes to lovers trope, which is one of my favorite tropes! It really goes to show how the couple can be complete opposites, yet their love pushes them to overcome their differences and grow into better people just to be together. It makes you feel like you should never give up on love! I also love how, right after breaking up, they realize just how deeply they still love each other. The art is absolute perfection, Leo Lombardi you're way too dazzling!
