Older manga but a classic for a reason. Highly recommend the anime so you can hear the kansai-ben of the cast. The fl, Risa is the girl of all time and she's still so refreshing to see. They let her make silly faces and be genuinely funny while not being a flat character. The fashion is great too

Tall and shy fl admires saturday morning cartoon villains, which turns into admiration for the short boy school villain who walks around with a cane laughing maniacally. Super cute highschool mastermind x henchman romance. Villainy doesn't really exceed team rocket.
PUNTABILITY - (4) He's super short and wimpy, I could send him flying, and he's a bit holier than thou and snotty, which makes it satisfying, but he's sickly so I would feel a bit bad.
OL and younger feminine boy who are friends start rooming. The boy falls first and hard, and with this fl who wouldn't, what do you mean you have bad luck with men miss PLEAAASE LET ME HAVE A CHANCE. Anyways it's really cute and original.
PUNTABILITY - (5) He's pretty short but would make a good impact, like scooping and punting a decent rock into a lake. I think he'd skip, even. He could use it too, but he'd be pissed.
Cute boy wants his cute girl friend to see him as a potential romance partner, thinks he's screwing it up but she does fall for him as is. It's really cute how they encourage eachother to enjoy their hobbies and be themselves.

Shy, crossdressing guy is encouraged to be himself by a free-spirited boyish girl. PLEASE make it past the butt stuff in the beginning I PROMISE the author KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING. The fl especially was a huge breath of fresh air. Wish I didn't have to say this, but huge props to having a very short energetic girl and STILL making her clearly come across as an adult.

They get really attached to eachother, I'm not a makeup girly but their bond is so sweet and well developed, they really help eachother grow as people.
PUNTABILITY - (4) He's the same height as the girl and rail thin. East punt but I don't think he'd bounce. Bit of an ass but in a girl way so I fully support it.
