A yuri classic (considered to be the first yuri manga and was published in the February 1971 issue of the shoujo manga magazine ribon ♡) that created the candy girl x crimson rose trope (ex: MadoHomu) which is a bit bury your gays but it’s still an important read (to me) so I’m recommending (i hold them both very close to my heart)
I really admire Haruno Nanae U.U Pieta is a psychological transcendent masterpiece piece, which is extremely impressive for a 4 chapter story to accomplish. I found their belonging very touching, the instant yet natural depth to their relationship, there are few things as romantic as feeling as if and truly believing you are one person split in two. #TrustMe
Collectors is a very simple 4-koma story that features relationship between two opposites with similar spending habits ♡ (My recommendation is in part a recommendation of all Nishi Uko works U.U) Conflict and Understanding layer their relationship and I find them to be a realistically sweet couple. Collectors would be good for people who enjoy a light coat of yearning over their slice of life romcom O.O They have a cute friendgroup too #JustAdding #ILoveJoseiYuri
Historical yuri centered around a grieving mc, Kasumi Hana, taking her brother’s place in life as a form of “penance”, now living to keep the happiness he had with his penpal girlfriend, Urushizawa Lily, alive. I’ll re-write this later I’m rereading rn and forgot how special this story was to me O.O
