Updated review after completing it. I think I preferred it when she was a bird because Valhyle (ML) was so more more unhinged and funny before she gets her body back. After that it’s a lot of sexual tension and pining and war tactics and the dynamic becomes very knight + princess and even though the art is quite good, sometimes the way Zeline’s lips are shaded just kind of disturbs me XD. Overall still a good read and I think the romance was well paced. Strong start, weaker middle-end
