Personal BL I read

A comfort read more than anything, but if anyone wants a quick bl with a decent plot and interesting enough characters and setting, this is one to consider reading. Mc is a freshman in college and is a country bumpkin and meets his more experienced senior that he began to admire. This being a bl, that admiration would give way to romantic interest, but this set itself apart with the concept of security within a relationship and one's individual safety being a priority instead of rushing.

Plenty of people who read bl know about this one by now, but to sum it up: the founder of demonic cultivation dies in a conflict in years past then was revived. With this new lease in life, he goes on to encounter the secrets of the past and his AHEM sort-of former friend who secretly had the hots for his oblivous ass. Apart from that, story is riveting in that a conspiracy beyond their control had been brewing, and now they'll have to uncover it themselves.

Haven't finished this one yet but the concept is quite original, at least within the scope of bl stories in which the mc, a virgin, is cursed to hear the thoughts of others through touch and finds out that his handsome co-worker likes him THAT way. It's a romcom no matter how you look at it but how the characters' personal story arcs are handled and their relationship growth is gratifying. There's also a side couple that's pretty sweet, kinda like dessert.

I haven't completed this one yet, but this is a very good bl for those who want something more feels-good with a touch of angst (just a little). Mc is a danseur-in-training (basically a male ballerina) and the ml is also a trainee but in boxing, putting them in opposite sides of their respective lives but they still intersect. The story puts great emphasis on pursuing your dreams through hard work, with the main couple encouraging each other to keep chasing their dreams. It's a good read.
