practically everyone in this manhwa is memorable and has intriguing motives, not to mention the hilarious (and lovable) central cast! unlike most action/overpowered mc manhwa, where every side character looks like they were pulled straight from a clip studio asset pack (no shade), samchon genuinely knows how to make every character here feel like a gem
DOES take a few chapters to find its footing but only gets better from there
chills… urasawa may possibly be mangaka agatha christie incarnate because I could never predict what would occur next. that’s also setting aside billy bat, pluto, 20th century boys — how can one person pen so much peak
also has a stronger ending than 20CB (I’m still left with so many questions over the plot holes, and the alternate version solves none) & BB imo
screenshotted so many panels of this because of how good the drawings and page compositions are, PLUS the chemistry (non-sexual) between the central duo is superb
if naruto, bleach, and one piece are considered the big three of shounen, then could this be… one of the top among school slice-of-lifes…?!
occasionally too freaky for me but yoshino is a great fmc so all is forgiven. desperately praying for more updates
this + anime art style is definitely T5 animanga of our generation (no glaze)
want to brag that I read this before the anime adaptation hype train but it honestly doesn’t matter because the author deserves all the praise and attention she can get
the art alone is worth raving about
everything else is the cherry on top (esp the plot twist)
no joke I teared up at the end
indisputable gold tier standard for all shonen
super creative concept and execution
letting this marinate at 120 chapters. also patiently waiting to see how the story will progress… I have the highest hopes for the mangaka
I Don't Want This Kind of Hero
