also alpha x omega but one of my absolute favorites bc we so rarely see the beginning of an omegaverse? this is set 2-3 years after the discovery of individuals with traits and also stresses the important of sex education

so it has both alpha to omega and beta to alpha and precisely bc of this double change that it’s able to challenge societal perceptions (including ones their parents drilled into them as kids) about what it means to be an alpha or omega and how to love themselves as themselves in spite of such a fundamental aspect of their identity shifting

alpha x alpha and probably THE PEAK bc man is it hard to find another one as good as this one. has it all: chaebol, cold, aloof seme turned uke and a really pretty seme. a sex partners agreement but catching feelings in the middle of it. mc who comes to terms with responsibility and duty vs love

same universe as dtr bc flona is goated like that. beta x alpha with a potent amount of angst to punch u in the guts. it doesn’t challenge just subgenders and what’s “normal” to want or desire but also what does forgiveness look like and does one need to accept an apology to move on etc

alpha x omega but it’s dominant omega and dominant alpha revolving around an omega who doesn’t want to be one and has pretended to be a beta all his life (dominant omegas are exceptional at controlling pheromones) unfortunately he catches the attention of a dominant alpha who believes and chases after fated mates. it’s more than a/b/o bc it deals with childhood trauma and abuse and ptsd etc

alpha x omega. this is more of a mc can’t accept his own subgender and the world believes that omegas should look and behave a certain way and he resents it all and tries to defy it. however pulling his leg is his alpha childhood friend who is a bit too obsessed with him (non con warning)

the novel is better pls read the novel. it’s both alpha x alpha and alpha x omega bc alpha gets pregnant despite his 1% omega genes but it’s a gorgeous exploration of subgenders bc he’s born from an alpha alpha pair who adopted kids and despite them being brilliant bc they weren’t alphas they were overlooked and mc cares deeply for his family and resents being an alpha

only in the side stories and i hate how the author hints at his transition from beta to omega bc it’s fucking uncessary beta deserves love too. but from my blurry memories and notes according to myself it was a beefy woke alpha x beta where the uke wasn’t forced to conform to stereotypes and it was a love beyond subgenders
