I think he is more of a kitten in many ways and the bottom is the puppy. There's some dubcon stuff in this as it used to be "normal" back in the day, so read it knowing it can feel dated and the language/standards don't fit modern trends

I think that 90% of it survived the test of time and it is a feel-good friends to lovers for a quick read

I wrote a 7 paragraph review on this and still think about it from time to time since finishing it months ago. It's dark/violent and full of noncon. There are many moral dilemmas in this. He is a devoted/tamed puppy at the end, but people differ in the opinions whether he must be forgiven or not.

The top is so whipped and down bad but he is confident and secure which is a huge contrast to his physique considering stereotypes in the genre, so it's quite refreshing to see a twink that doesn't run away from a challenge and is ready to end a huge bottom with a good dicking down.
