The author said she wanted to write a story about "Summer, high school, one-side love" hence what we got: An unrequited love story between childhood friends that was portrayed subtly in the heat of a summer madness. Quite lovely.
Don't let the cover fool you, I thought this was some cringe kinky stuff and neglected it for so long but turned out there wasn't anything like that at all. The story is mostly cute and heartfelt, with some depression and maybe annoyance along the way. It ends on a happy and positive note, so worth all of my tears.
The art swings between super gorgeous and awfully sketchy, thankfully it gets better; story can be (very) confusing at times but once you got the idea its actually pretty unique and interesting. I've always wanted to read a yaoi which isn't focus mostly on sex and romance but has a complex set up and decent action... so this is nice enough to follow :)
Ok so the theme is unique and interesting, but I haven't finished vol 1 yet and people have been going crazy about vol 2... I heard it involved cheating and I, urghh, hate it so f*cking much so if you're thinking about reading this maybe rethink cz I don't recommend it anymore ~
Sweet and cute. Haven't read the new season tho, hope its still lovely.
Dreamy art. I read the novel and it wasn't utterly perfect like I wished it was, but for a manhua this art is 10/10.
The art is beautiful! So lovely! Nothing really unique about the story but for romance I never crave immense creativity anyway.
This originally lied in my fav list but after some waiting times idk I don't really feel like picking it up anymore...
So cute and funny haha xD. Seme is unexpectedly cool and charming (manga usually doing good with cute uke but its cool seme are more often than not cringe or plain). It's a bit short tho.
Almost paradise except the endgame isn't the one I'm rooting for.
Used to be my guilty pleasure
