LOTS of miscommunication but got me into psychological josei. both perspectives eventually shared, feels a little bit like sally rooney's normal people because of the misunderstandings & the orbiting around each other. people find the FL frustrating but i think she reacts appropriately to the miscommunication.
tasteful smut, office workers, cheating but not real
woman sees the upstanding guy from her church with a woman who mysteriously disappears. hijinks ensue.
not so much miscommunication, more leaning mystery and the kind of love that blossoms between two people who are misunderstood but understand each other. kind of love-hate in that way as well.
fantasy/supernatural, slow burn. the mystery is whether they like each other or if they can't live without each other lol
psychological slow burn about a college student who nearly loses her scholarship to the school's prince. they initially don't like each other but grow to be friends and eventually lovers.
perspective shifts to help you understand their thought characters and motives. the story endures through their initial get-together and throughout their relationship, with flashbacks to their past enemy-ship.

aspiring actress stumbles upon an art exhibit comprised of photos taken of her in secret. she gets signed to an agency as part of the unknown artist's wishes.
less romance-focused in this but compelling narrative.
mystery, show business
man who lives his life in subservience in his relationships is taken in by his "owner's" brother and taught to live by his own wishes.
beautiful story about agency and love and the lengths we'll go to secure it.

honestly not my favorite, probably 6.5/10. the psychological aspects surround FL but don't entirely involve her.
