Psychological BL

I've come back to this work a few times by now and am still amazed with how beautiful and at the same time complicated this story is with its taboo subject matter. I think it's amazing how an author can write something like this under ten chapters! wish Akagawa Sagan wrote more works akin to this since I'm in awe with their pen lol.

Explored dehumanization and exploitation in an interesting way—I won't lie and say I wasn't put off by the cover at first but I was pleasantly surprised with how it's written! There's two other manga that extends this work, but I think it's fine on an individual read. I've never felt so emotionally impacted thinking about one of the characters, it's definitely an emotion that requires a good amount of skill coming from the author.

I'm still kinda sad that this work probably won't ever be finished by the author, but for what it's worth the gritty atmosphere, darker narrative about abuse and extremely unhealthy relationships could've make up for such an interesting story especially with all the allusions provided with only two chapters. Oh Hankon, I do still think about you sometimes...

Fucked up people get into fucked up relationships. This work has a special place in my heart for its depiction of difficult people, especially when it comes the main character. You don't really get to see much of them in most works I'd argue, in preference of more palatable types—Nyannya has always written sad and pathetic guys with this charm of humanity from them that I really can't help but like them despite their faults.

Wasn't too into the art style at first and it might be little difficult to discern the characters at certain points, but this read was worth it! Pretty short in comparison to the usual manhwa out there, though both narrative and atmosphere throughout are incredibly solid. Psychological crime thrillers are always such a treat when done well...

Quick read, but it's a fun oneshot! Tackles obsessive feelings, the art is pretty too.

Genuinely please look at the tags before this work if you want to be mentally prepared because I didn't on my first reading (oh my god), but I think not knowing what to expect might be better for some people...? There's something about 2010s BL that's kind of mature and messy at the same time, this work emblematic of that kind of time period. It's an interesting work all things considered!

Hooooly kino. I wasn't aware Baetodi moved like this with the first work I've read of theirs being super cute in comparison. There's was something crazy about this where I would recommend going in blind if you don't care for content warnings—insanely solid for an anthology work with limited chapters. Wishing they make more works like this in the future since they truly have a knack for darker, mature stories in my opinion.

Terribly interesting and unconventional plot that led me to binge it all in one night. It has a lot to say about human facets and remains engaging throughout the story. It's a good read!

On the shorter side, but a really good manhwa regardless. Horrific in concept but something you can't look away from if I had to describe it in some way. If you like seemingly harmless, pretty characters then this is probably up your alley!
