technical reincarnation into game world, male protagonist
Last Boss of a game keeps having weird dreams about “another world,” and realizes he’s totally hosed if he doesn’t pretend to be dead when the heroine kills him… because she’ll kill him for real if he doesn’t. So he fakes his death and then goes to live a peaceful life in the middle of nowhere. When does that ever work out? Not here, certainly, because it turns out he’s got pretty
isekai into game world, male protagonist
hospitalized guy who likes playing a SRPG as the evil organization Mynoghra ends up in the game, as Mynoghra’s Evil God / King. Interesting aspects involving different genres and isekai. Mostly focused on kingdom building and strategy… as you may expect.
transmigration into game world, male protagonist
Dude who’s literally the only person to ever make it to the end of a tower defense game on Ultra Hard GFY mode gets shoved into said game as the asshole Prince Ash Bornhater Everblack… on an even harder difficulty. The plot then proceeds to start using him as a chew toy.
Genuinely pretty awesome, strongly recommend. Lots of battles and no romance that I can tell. Ah, but… your fav is NOT safe.
isekai, male protagonist
Typical isekai hero beats the last boss sans comrades (who he killed because They Sucked and Were Going to be a Liability), and then gets an F on his heavenly personality test. Since he’s been judged as trash, he has to redo the whole thing over again instead of going back home… Yay. Things do not get better from there.
isekai, male protagonist
A dude gets shunted into a dungeon and then proceeds to get left behind on the first level… and is about to die when it “resets.” Since he is also in the dungeon, he also resets and doesn’t die. This unlocks a new lease on life for him and he spends a good amount of time being Very Chipper about living in a dungeon… and then the Plot starts nipping at his heels.
transmigration into game world, male protagonist
Dude who gets reincarnated into a noble’s son ends up as a Heavy Knight and is like, “Hell yeah, this class is OP af when you do it right!” This world does not know how to do it right, so he is exiled from his noble house. He proceeds to become an adventurer with a cute harlequin jester girl.
About 1/2 the reason I like this one is because the main character(s) are HELLA eye candy.
reincarnation, male protagonist
Dude ends up reincarnated with a cheat ability and immediately goes, “Hey, what happens AFTER the cheat ability haver dies?” It turns out a whole lot of horror and agony, so he’s immediately put off about using his cheat.
reincarnation, male protagonist
Overworked salaryman dies of exhaustion and becomes the kid of an innkeeper in another world. Very healing and slow. This is what those MCs who yearn for a “slow life” actually want, I think.
technical transmigration into a novel, male protagonist
Some guy from another world who hates pain ends up in the body of a minor antagonist who gets the shit kicked out of him. In an effort to avoid that, he helps the protagonist… and somehow that leads to him adopting 3-15 children, coughing up genuinely horrifying amounts of blood, and saving the world… Cale Henituse / KRS will never catch a break, in any universe.
isekai... i think, male protagonist
Guy who sucked in his past life (snake oil salesman) ends up in Dungeon Purgatory. If he escapes, he can go to heaven… Somehow, he ends up a Dad instead.
