really just personifies the "springtime of youth" completely
really dynamic and has some psychological aspects, strong mc that uses acting for the sublimation of all her emotions
4.5/5 -- i love love love seeing author's who have obviously researched their material in-depth and produce something about another culture respectfully -- historical, slice of life, eases through the interconnected stories of various women and their marriages
5/5 but forever ongoing OTL
4/5 -- i know people take issue with the age gap between the mc and one of the male characters, but i love how they helped each other grow unwittingly and like magic, just like the premise
3.5/5 -- psychological, acting/showbiz, the mc is easy to love/hate equally
4/5 -- super interesting setting, great art/action
3.5/5 -- historical, forever ongoing it seems -- outsider POV to historical events/peoples -- renaissance italy
4.5/5 -- based on real, historical figures -- been following this for yearrrrrrrrsssss, absolutely one of my fave historical/action pieces that isn't just about war/violence, but goes into a lot of spiritual contemplation and self-reflection too -- all-around great cast of fleshed out characters
3.5/5 -- so weird, striking visual metaphors, feels like it's trying to deduce something about society, but gets a little lost in the landing -- still a good read tho
