It's a story that emphasizes the importance of communication. On the surface, it has a fairly predictable plot and you could argue that the conflict presented in the story is dull because it can easily be solved if they'd just talk... But despite that, the story was executed fairly well. It's the little moments in this comic that made my heart clench.
It's a little rough around the edges but the message was conveyed clearly. It's important to love yourself before loving others. This story is about Haruhi's journey to self-discovery. With a little push from Masahiro, (a man he met at a bar at his lowest point in life) Haruhi managed to pick himself back up. Men like Masahiro are hard to come by in BL. We need more people who are genuinely kind and harbor no ill intentions.
It's a short comic about two neighbors (a bookworm and a movie fanatic) who bonded over film and gradually fell in love. Although it deals with miscommunication, it didn't rely on heavy drama to keep its readers on their feet. It honestly felt like a story you'd hear from a friend in real life. Perfect if you need something quick to brighten your day.
