This entire plot was written as a rage bait. You can tell by how pitiful the MC and her family is written to be, and yet, how irritating the MC’s character is. she doesn’t ever fight back properly against her fake family, but lashes her anger towards the ML. The ML is the real victim out of the story. He is actually a reasonable character who doesn’t know anything b/c no one told him the truth. It’s like we can’t have a proper FL, otherwise the story cannot continue.
This manga is one of the classics for angst love. MC is debt ridden and linked to the MLs for money, and there’s r*** / gang r*** which is sickening. As you read you’ll find out so much more to the world building and the nuances of these monsters. The novel was great. 10/10 would recommend for those who can stomach.
it was stressful to read this manga because of how manipulative the ML is. In the day he was super fierce as a boss and in the night he demands a lot in the bed. I just felt like MC was subjected to a lot of emotional trauma and because he doesn’t have anything going on in his life, he ended up falling for ML.

I’ve finished reading this, and I’m surprised that it’s not that popular. Actually among all the yandere reads I think this might be the top manipulative yandere. In the modern life he treats Uke well, but that’s also another act he is playing out. He really played the long game to gain the trust of the Uke. However even towards the end, the Uke can’t let go of the past and that scares seme. It’s the “what if he realises that it was me who hurted him?”

This was such a GOOD READ. It was amazing. It kept me on my toes throughout because I needed to know what was going to happen next. No one is a good person in the story, everyone’s ****ed up in their own ways. I can’t believe it’s the author’s first fanfiction.
