[SH] Oga Tatsumi finds a demon baby hidden within the body of a man floating downstream and proceeds to take over as the father figure, grooming the child to take over from his actual father. Because he's one of the strongest delinquents around, Beel pretty much accepted him from the get-go. Now join them on this journey of insanely quirky parenthood with crazy hijinks to boot. This manga is amaaaaazingly hilarious. I just can't get 'nuff of it. & yes, it's complete. xD.
[SH] Because he's being bullied, Shi-woon asks his teacher for help in the form of learning self-defense techniques, and that's how his eyes are opened to an entirely new and frankly terrifying world. This was my first real venture into the martial arts genre, and I couldn't be more excited about it. While the fights may seem unreal during certain points, I can't help but love the overall pacing of the story. [+R]
[SH] Sequel to The Breaker. Shi-woon is asked to become the head of the Sunwoo clan but in name only. But that doesn't stop him from striving to retain what he lost due to his master's interference. I will say this; my hopes for this series hasn't been dashed. It was just as gripping as the first, and even though the main character lost the ability he had in the first one, he still managed to crawl his way back into the world of Murim.
[SH] Due to a scientist's interference, a nerd and a fighting machine switch bodies, which then leads to the nerd learning how to properly channel all that strength (because let's face it, Woo Soo-Choi was a bumbling dork in the beginning, even with that amazingly built body.) Whereas Kang Too-Jee was forced to adapt his fighting style and rebuild his strength due to the switching. This manga feels incomplete, but I still enjoyed reading it.
[SH] Ohma Tokito joins the Kengan Association Tournament to prove he's the strongest, but along the way he meets several other fighters who prove just as talented and just as capable as him. To be honest, I wasn't sure I would even like this manga, but it was nice to be proven wrong! Excellent fight scenes and superb illustrations. [+R]
[SH] When his twin brother, Kang Hu, dies - a result of bullying - Kang Hyuk takes his place, in order to wreak havoc on the ones responsible for killing his brother and tearing his family apart. This story was really detailed and went into great depth in the planning of the bullies' comeuppance, and I must say I really enjoyed it. The webtoon did a fantastic job in justifying Dokgo's reasoning for going on the warpath. Honestly, I would have done the same in his shoes. Amazing story!
[SH] Hibino Hareluya is on a quest for world domination, and along the way, he meets allies and enemies alike, those of whom assist him with his quest - in various, unbelievable ways. I really, really enjoyed this manga. Hibino was too hilarious for words. I'll never be over the fact that he kept a bat and frying pan stashed behind his back; to use whenever the situation warranted it. A fantastic read!
[SH] A tentacled product of experimentation makes his presence known by obliterating most of the moon, followed shortly by threats that should he survive past a specific date, all of humanity will perish. It's up to the students of class 3-E (the bottom dwellers, so to speak) to protect mankind by assassinating the creature, who just so happens to be their new homeroom teacher, Koro-Sensei. God, the humor! This manga is such a riot. [+R]
[SH] On the day schools around the world are introduced to a talking Daruma doll with a penchant for blood-thirst, Shun soon discovers that perpetual boredom isn't so bad, not when the alternative is playing these rather childish death games with fellow classmates. Yet a terrifying twist still lies in wait, for the survivor of these games is given the title of candidate in the search for a new god. This one was so bloody good; a real page turner! Amaaaaaya ;) 'Nuff said.
[SH] Sequel to Kamisama no Iutoori. The students who missed school the day of "the incident" are encouraged to attend Trash Can Academy as two otherworldly siblings search for the perfect candidate to gift the power of god too. Akashi is one such student and willingly agrees to participate when he realizes that his best friend is currently fighting for his life - even if he too must face many horrifying challenges and obstacles along the way. A brilliant story!
