(⚣) Ongoing Yaoi manga. When I first discovered "24-Hour Kiss," I didn't expect to love it as much as I do now. It's an office romance between a salesman and a cosmetics designer. Guess I'm a sucker for office romance. It's a bit fast-paced but the beautiful art and funny characters make the journey worthwhile. Highly recommended read.
(⚣) Long-running Shounen Ai manga. Takes place throughout the protagonists' high school lives. Background romances, with some chapters dedicated to them - though, the focus of the manga is still the primary couple. Tsundere uke with an overprotective seme. It's an acquired taste for this manga but if you're interested, check it out. Highly recommend.
(⚣) Long-running Yaoi manga. Love story between a yakuza and a police man. The interactions between the two never feel too forced except for the start (which is acceptable for me.) New things always come up and continue to make the story interesting. Another manga with background couples that sometimes have chapters dedicated to them, but the focus never strays from the main couple and the characters reoccur without feeling forced into place.
(⚢) Short Yuri manga. To be completely honest, I read this a while ago and can't remember the majority of the plot, however, I remember enjoying it a lot. The development of the characters works well for the number of chapters Fragtime was given. The art is gorgeous as well. If you're into GL this is probably my #1 recommended.
(⚣) Long-running Yaoi manga. This has to be one of my all-time favourites. Though, you could probably already guess that. The characters are quirky and loveable and you follow the main couple throughout their years which makes you feel invested and attached. I suggest reading the prequel before reading Harukaze no Etranger, it's very good and I doubt you'll dislike it. The art is gorgeous and it has perfect comedic timing.
(⚤) Long-running Seinen manga. A Hilarious and engaging love story. The art is simplistic but works effectively for the story it's telling. The chapters are short but leave you wanting more. I actually should reread this, it's an absolute hidden gem among straight romance mangas. Hilarious and addicting. Highly recommend.
(⚤) Long-running Shoujo manga. I absolutely love masculine/strong female leads, and having her paired with an effeminate and goofy love interest makes my heart swim with joy. They're a match made in heaven and the art is just precious. Simple, but gorgeous in its simplicity. It's definitely worth the read for any shoujo fan. Hilarious and charming.
(⚣) Long-running Yaoi manga. Well, longer than the usual BL anyway. A classic and one of my favourites from a long time ago. I believe it was one of my firsts that got me into the genre. The uke is a massive tsundere and the seme is very protective of not only his love interest, but his friends. Your typical story, though. Uke is interested in the seme, so he bullies the friend that he's always with. Pretty cliche but I think this manga does it justice. It's well-presented.
(⚣) Short Yaoi manga. Ah, Harada. She never ceases to amaze, does she? This happens to be my favourite series from her (including its sequel.) I have a thing for music/band-themed BL manga and this one hits me in all my sweet spots. From her gorgeous art to the drama and darkness from within the pages. One of her more subtle works but still engaging and intriguing.
(⚣) Ongoing Yaoi manga. Sequel to "Yoru To Asa No Uta," this time a lot more lovey-dovey moments between the two which is rare in a Harada series - but executed as well as it could be considering the source material. I'm biased because I love this couple and I love Harada but. It's a good read.
