An incredibly written dramatic action story starting off with 28 gems, each varying in strength, who fight the mysterious moon ppl that attack them every 3 days of each season except winter. This is definitely one of the more complex action mangas out there. One of the best things I've read on both a technical and original level. The more you read, the more intense & brilliant it becomes.Amaazing

This is a dark fantasy manga HIGHly praised for the first arc in its series(the Golden Age arc), & imo, it's praise well deserved; The connection among the mcs is written exceptionally well. Unfortunately, after the first arc, the writing is never nearly as good which is a bit disappointing. Still Highly Rec~(Tws: too manyi do NOT rec to the faint hearted )

A mysterious immortal being is put on earth starting as nothing but a white orb, knowing nothing, and holding no emotion of its own. We watch as it grows to learn humanity and the value of life as well as death. A story with an extremely interesting concept containing many different story arcs to help fuel the mc's character development. I fuckin cried(edit: has an anime)

This is the compelling story of Nanasaki Ryosuke(a japanese gay activist)describing his childhood up until he met and married his husband. its a manga adapted off of the essay he wrote & Its absolutely sublime. the drawings are incredibly pleasing and the story itself is very real and emotionally provocative. I would HIGHLY rec reading this one.

One of the only action stories where I genuinely appreciated the incorporated romance. Its abt a bunch of criminals on death row who are sent to an unknown island in search of an elixir of life & whoever finds it will be granted a pardon. if u like action with plot, i HIGHLY rec this-- the writing, the detail, the character development- its all fukin gud(tw: sexism, implied rape)--(edit: its getting animated)

An award winning psychological drama about astronauts so lost in their dreams of being in space that they nearly forget that they have a life on earth---they learn to cherish their humanity and understand what it means to be alive. The main character specifically has an entire existential crisis its also incredibly informational--(literally rocket science)Highly rec~(edit: has an anime)

An absolutely sensational sports manga following a group of young football players coming together to compete to be the face of Japan's future in football. There's no real complexity in the plot or characters, but the drawings are extremely expressive and well the characters are dynamic enough so that we're not watching the same shit every game. Highly rec -(anime premiering in 2022😎)

An action adventure manga based on the life of the icelandic explorer, Thorfinn Karlsefni, who attempted to establish a permanent settlement in Vinland(now East. Canada) in 1010 AD... THIS is fucking good. Amazing character development- possibly the best I've seen. Perfect amount of action, comedy, angst, & SoL. I HIGHLY rec reading this; the anime is too. (tw: sexism, implied rape, SA).

Everybody knooows this. It was still a little different from FMAB so if you do read it, it'll be fun to spot the differences ig. Far as the rating goes...from the very start there was no way i was gonna give this any less than a 20/10 based on the amnt of nostalgia i got from it alone so could be a lil biased...but idgafamazing work

An UNDERRATED adventure manhwa following a group of men enlisted in the army due to mandatory service. However, they are not assigned to a platoon, but to a mountain. This manhwa delves into both the limits of human psyche and biology. Never expected to get hype about mountain rescue but this was fucking intense ngl. An original work with REALLY impressive art.Highly Rec
