The manga that inspired me to make this list. Content warning: there are a few rape flashbacks, as the MC’s backstory is that he was raped by fellow students five years in the past and now has a child. However, the love interest is THE most caring, non-rapey, wholesome seme you will ever encounter. This is an omegaverse story, but I would recommend you give it a try even if you’re not a huge fan of that subgenre.

There is a very, very, very happy ending.
One of my all-time favorites. Starts off a bit weird, maybe even a little goofy, but once the story starts rolling you will not be able to put it down. Incredible art, beautifully cinematic storytelling, and complex, interesting, and totally lovable (or hateable!) characters. If you enjoy BDSM you’ll love the sex scenes, but even if you don’t I’d recommend you give it a try unless you’re totally averse to that kind of thing.
By the end of this one, I was actually crying.
