while not as directly upfront and confrontational with it's darker themes, the way the messed up aspects of the story lie under wraps of "normal" romance themes serves to make the read increasingly disturbing. can't wait for the story to further develop

A good mind boggling read where nothing quite fits into place until the very end, and even then, end up questioning everyone and everything. There is no "fact" to the plot or situation of the story, and as it unfolds, it leaves more questions than it does answers. Definitely many small clues go unnoticed on a first read, making even many more reads equally thrilling.

Its not exactly BL, more like unrequited-psycho-love-bromance? I just really love the way the characters were written and the story telling was 10/10. Not one of the most gracious reads, but seeing every piece of broken information finally settle into place at the end is sooooo satisfying.

I really enjoy the writing and character interactions. I think it thoughtfully displays what it feels like to live in a world/society catered to the opposite of yourself. The use of something like not being able to lie as such a foreign thing in real life but as something so simple and natural in this other world is enjoyable to read about.

For a one-shot (that now has a surprising continuation), I really enjoyed this! The plot/pacing is well thought-out and nothing feels rushed or cut short. great for a quick, disturbing and sad read.

This artstyle in this is so good oml. I've read a few stories with plots similar to this but the story telling is really good nonetheless. Very angsty. major plot twist
