Protagonist: Robot Otaku
Build: ★★☆☆☆ (More like "spread knowledge"/societal redevelopment)
Defense: ★★★☆☆
Isekai: Reincarnation
Setting: Fantasy World
Plot: Build a robot, save the world
Notes: I haven't actually read this one, but I will, and I include it because the anime was decent.
I HAVE NOT ACTUALLY READ THIS ONE YET, but the (first season of the) anime was so good I have to add it to the list.
Love, love, love the idea. Transported/trapped in a game, ADAPTING to living in the game, ADDRESSING very real, very moral concepts. Anti-hero protagonist, but more in a "behind the scenes" kind of schemer, good-guy mastermind way.
I HAVEN'T ACTUALLY READ THIS ONE YET, but the anime forces me to add this to the list.
Summoned to a world build entirely on the concept of games. Very enjoyable, very recommended, very underrated.
Semi-harem, but done well enough.
Leveling system, very unusual premise. Enjoyable, though I'm saving updates, got tired of cliffie endings.
Unusual premise! Very laid back. Very cute. Still OP protagonist.
Classic but enjoyable.
Interesting starting premise, almost wished it continued on that path. Summoned to become the demon king... but he stubbed his toe and broke the enchantment before it could overwrite his personality.
Does it could as a second chance if it's his twin brother that took the first route? Betrayal and revenge (?) plot. Tower premise.
He died! And got a flying castle (golems included)!
Hmmm. An isekai in an isekai? Inception anyone? A guy, born in a game-ish world, gets transported to another game-ish world one day. What is one to do but take a vacation?
