I wanted to add these mangas into my BL Masterpieces list but I can't torture myself (or anyone who follows that list) as there is no sign of them being completely scanlated, reasons: 1. there is no group taking up the translation while the latest update was over a year ago. I still review & add my tags to these mangas. 2. licensed in english => a mostly hopeless case 3. hiatus in origin country => a totally hopeless case If you still want to read them, I won't stop you. Hmmm, just wondering about the "author found out", most are from lezhin yet what about the other popular lezhin bl mangas here? like painter of the night and love is an illusion (when it was still ongoing), the authors of these manhuas are more likely to know about this site but why aren't these dropped nor removed? not saying I want it to happen, please no ╥﹏╥ (￣∇￣")
Let me clarify... this list is only for the hiatus - dropped BLs which I like or hear mostly good reviews, and I'd love to add them into my masterpiece lists if someday someone can continue the uploading so... I won't add POTN and LIAL here because it's simple: I don't like them haha #－.－)
for your question, I bet many of lezhin authors know about this site, but there are 2 circumstances related to my point no 2 - licensed in english the first is, scan group voluntarily drops the project - someone else may take the risk and continue to upload... and we can still read them (illegally) hooray! second is the author/legal publisher lezhin DIRECTLY contact the group/sites and threaten to sue them if they don't remove it. You can't find these BLs on any sites other than Lezhin itself. so if you still find many of lezhin comics here, luckily they still fall into the first case but who knows if some day they'll fall into the 2nd...?

Oh I see, I understand the purpose of your list.. and it's true that these bls are really good shit, one of the most interesting for me is mad place, that's why I regularly log in every MWF so that I can get bonus coins and purchase it (⌒▽⌒)
well if they're licensed, there is a high chance that what we're doing (scanning, translating, reading... illegally) will be found out & sued by the legal publishers for JPN mangas, publishers are more forgiving because it's some kind of marketing, authors still earn stably based on the sales of physical books -> you can still find some licensed mangas being uploaded here. for KRN manhwa, oh Lezhin... they're very terrifying and authors are also very very strict - there've been some drama that authors sued some scan groups. manhwa is webtoon-based which counts sales by numbers of view so reading illegally does affect authors a lot :( i hope my explanation is not too long lol

Well to be honest, I'm not really sure. Last year they said they would upload it somewhere in December or January. This year they said they would update it somewhere in December. I'm not really sure if it's just that they don't have enough time. It feels like it will never be completed. They is still a long way to go with this manga.

Chapter 30 was just uploaded in Jan-2021. I think this is partly because of Ogawa-sensei's slow progress herself. I have to admit this kind of plot is very difficult to have a satisfying ending, that's why it has been running since 2014 and we'll never know when it'll be completed ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I added it on my BL masterpieces list though. I agree the update is really slow ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ but this list is only for the hiatus manga (because scan group or author stops working on it). I hope I'll never have to add Koimonogatari on this list. I love it too much ┗( T﹏T )┛

well if they're licensed, there is a high chance that what we're doing (scanning, translating, reading... illegally) will be found out & sued by the legal publishers
for JPN mangas, publishers are more forgiving because it's some kind of marketing, authors still earn stably based on the sales of physical books -> you can still find some licensed mangas being uploaded here.

Looking at this makes me sad, but at least with Raws you can always MTL. It’s the ones that are dropped permanently by the author that are gone.
