Captivating games of lust and manipulation underneath the dirty times of the Showa Era in Japan. The type of creation that makes you think about the meaning of certain things and will keep your mind active with questions for at least a restless nights. From the art style to the plot make this manga is has a solid place in my absolute favorites.
By now, a classic in terms of high-school messed up sexual desires that will somehow get a good ending. (This assumption was purely made by my instincts, do not sue me.) There is some love in there that will melt your nasty souls, I suppose, because it’s not introduced in the basic cheesy way that I absolutely loathe. Great if you love plot-twists and drama. (In my case these are the salt and pepper of anything but whatever.)
Is every good thing a classic at this point? I have no idea, anyway, this is one of the most popular works Harada has and it is like that for a reason: it’s. fucking. good. I won’t spoil the fun for you but, just to let you know: the plot twist is in there and the messed up action rolls in more that you initially think it would.
‘Oh, I know this author, it’s like the one who wrote Doukyuusei lol, it was so so cute, omg!’ Shut up Karen. This is the real shit. (Just took it out from the radical.)
Jokes aside, if you’re looking for heavy, almost tragic plots, you should hurry up and read this because it lives up to the genre of ‘dark themed.’ Many complain about the art style this mangaka has but I find it beautiful and fitting for the action which (here) is: incest, drama and sex.
An almost uncomfortable sneak-pic into the life of a delivery-man/stalker and his customer/victim who has a cute, well drawn lizard. Very slice of life-ish, rape-ish and vague-ish due to the length it has.
Nevertheless, if this were to be made into a live action porn, PornHub would definitely come up with a dozen of titles for it so... that’s that. I like it.
Interesting things are in there, to be honest. The first story is just like a cup of coffee after a 7 hour sleep. Amazing. Good. Fantastic. Bombastic, yara yara. The others are cute to say at least, a little cheesy on the edges. Still, even if you are lactose intolerant you will survive, most probably.
Uuuuh... you know that weird aunt that only comes to your family reunions and is not even your relative but comes anyways and brings you cheap gifts that are so cool that you stop being a materialistic piece shit for one second and appreciate a kind gesture? Also she’s part of a demonic cult and only wears fake Louis Vuitton with 3 “t”-s. That would be this manga as a person. Dark? Kind of. It’s cool. Like a headache that gives you a day off.
The messed-up relationship two brothers have. Getting a little roasted in there ;). Beautiful. I love Ogawa Chise. Despite most saying it is a one shot: it is not. It has one more chapter which you can find as the last chapter of Rakuda Tsukai to Ouji no Yoru (multiple stories by the same author.) I suggest you read the next two listed mangas before accessing that ‘epilogue’ though since they are all happening in the same universe and you’ll have a better grip on the plot.
Fucked up relationship of a father and his son. Not lovey-dovey stuff, that’s for sure. Psychological and has a slight voyeurism going on. In the same universe with Ibistu no Kakera; you chose which one is more messed up.
Step-incest, two step-brothers. More normal if you are to compare it with the two ones above it which is kind of something since this one is pretty dramatic as well. And you dummy thought only Caste Heaven was good to be read. Pathetic. An unspeakable pain. (the title is 100/100.)
