This does start with a little angst, but as soon as it starts it's being actively resolved. Issues that pop up on the way are dealt with communication and honesty. Plenty of good female supporting characters, with one "bad" that has a redemption arc. This rare manga was shounen ai all the way until after ch. 60 where it turns into a glorious yaoi.
If you have not read this one yet, you need to give it a shot. It's a real jewel.
Single man with a newborn moves to the countryside. He meets one of its residents that seems to be a jerk at first, but turns out to be a man with a big heart
(6 chapters) Sugiura Sakae developed a crush on his 6th grade teacher, Fukada Ryuuji. This remarkable teacher, in his first year of teaching, left such a indelible mark on Sakae that it inspired him to become a teacher when he grew up. When Sakae begins his internship at an assigned elementary school, he is shocked to find his former sensei now teaching there. This time he falls in love for real, but keeps it a secret. What he doesn't know is that Ryuuji is begining to fall in love with him
I would be remiss in not including this one on the list. It's full of goodness and wholesomeness, but it may be a little too sugary and innocent for some. If that's what you need though, this certainly will do the job.
This one's a true classic and should be required reading for all BL lovers. Pretty much the purest "falling in love" BL manga you will ever read.
Chapters 1-5 in this volume is a very sweet story.
Endou dropped out of high school because of the bullying he received when it was revealed he was gay. In his mind, he was the biggest loser that ever existed. When he gets a job at a convenience store, he has to work with a very scary-looking and gruff co-worker. This is a reminder that you should never judge a book by its cover, as his co-worker is the complete opposite of what you would think.
No one-sided, long and drawn out unrequited love here. This time you get to watch both parties slowly fall for each other. It's a very pleasant journey.
A relationship that wisely tries to take it slow, despite the eargerness of both parties. Oh, and it’s already established they’re both gay. And they’re both good for each other. Very sweet, with just brief snag that they come out of even better.
A mother realizes her son is probably gay and is his greatest supporter
Hold off on this one. I need to recheck. Seems like some newly uploaded rogue chapters might not even belong to this story
