Sweet Love BL

I did not even realize this was a shounen ai story when I read it. When the romance did kick in I was very pleased with it.

This title just barely makes it onto this list because of its sequel/epilogue story that is so sweet...

The romantic payoff is fo fulfilling and hot.

In realistic gay relationships, both partners do each other. This story actually uses this dynamic in the relationship, and I love it.

A story from the same mangaka as “Secret XXX” and it’s spinoff couple story “Therapy Game.” A completely different couple again. I am excited for more from this story and the mangaka.

This was one of the first pieces that connected me to a deep emotion of wanting someone to love me and a shared value of putting in the work to make a relationship and romance work.

I didn’t expect this story. One person’s efforts often seem rude or miss the mark of common sense of the common person. But their intentions and sincere persistence shine through in moments of understanding and continued growth. The last chapter caps off this story.

I was not expecting the story I’ve gotten out of this. A simple admiration for the romance in BL stories slowly burns into the signs of BL romantic interest in real life.
