1st Story: has injury, guilt, unrequited Love, jealously, abuse, secrets, death and some very serious mourning.
💭 The first story was an interestingly dark read filled with misdirected feelings. All 3 characters seem to have very low levels of self worth and are therefore always causing themselves and each other pain (4 ). I didn’t like the second, one shot story though - on its own I would have rated it a lot lower (1 ).

☣Damn, that story is just so tragic. While I’m not a huge fan of subject matter (though i won’t lower score- was my bad for picking it), extra marks for realism, drawing me in, getting me engrossed + making me feel lots of stuffs. But was annoying how often the kid said Nii.
Nii is an underachieving, apathetic middle-schooler - he likes it that way. The only blip in his uneventful existence-his strong attraction to his male bestie

Poor brother, he’s just needless suffering for MC’s story (Need sad unconnected drama here or more sex there, use Sumi) or he’s to MCs look good in comparison?
Toshi likes his childhood friend Yumi, then older bro Sumi-looks & sounds alike-offers sex to Toshi & a love triangle starts that Sumi’s bound to lose

💭Typical of Harada’s work, it shows relationships which are simply: beautiful disasters. You cant stand to watch, but you also can’t look away as Harada has made such pitiful people amusing & entertaining
