Don't even fucking @ me about this goddamn manga. It's some bloody award winning film shite. The wholesome love story, the Regan era anti-gay political era, the looming AIDS crisis, a respectful portrayal of an often misunderstood religion and a HAPPY FUCKING ENDING???? This manga has got it all and if I had the money I'd make it a fucking blockbuster and win my ass an oscar.

This is my come home after a long day at work and need comfort food manga. This manga is a heaping plate of mac-and-cheese carby, starchy goodness with a side of cool female characters, interesting supporting cast and an uke with an ass that just don't quit. And really, who can resist a man in uniform???
