Kitsune's Shoujo Faves

This is definitely a front-runner. I stumbled across this manga several months back and instantly fell in love. The art style is breathtakingly gorgeous. The story is lovely, as is the character development and the main couple are freaking adorable. Their friendship is very well depicted as well.

If you're a fan of fantasy tales with princes, castles and the like, this will be sure to suit your tastes! The female lead is also a strong character who likes to do things by her own power.

A child-hood friends kind of love with lovely art and slow-building romance, in which the male lead discovers his feelings first. This has a lovely story and flows nicely. If you're looking for something sweet, adorable and innocent, this is just the manga for you!

It's the type of manga where you want to throw the two main characters in a closet, lock the door and force them to admit their feelings to each other.

All of my favorite genres rolled into one amazing manga. I honestly wasn't sure how I felt about the young male lead and the older female lead, but somehow it worked. The two characters managed to worm their way into my heart.

A beautiful story that will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. An abandoned girl and a powerful demon living in the human world find love. It's not as cliche as it sounds, trust me. This story had me in tears by the end of it. I assure you it's not tragedy, but if you don't shed a few tears, I don't know what's wrong with you.

I wasn't expecting much from this manga, but after a couple chapters I was hooked. The two kids are an adorable bonus as well. The story has a strong female lead as well. I used to not be a huge fan of large age gaps, but this manga makes it work. The relationship between the two main characters is endearing and heartwarming. The romance is built up realstically and at a moderate pace.

This manga had me smiling and lauhing throughout it. Knowing me, we've got another headstrong female lead. That and your 'prince of the school' character with a mysterious past.

Definitely something you want to read when you're feeling down. It'll put a smile on your face.

I'm actually pretty sure this is the very first shoujo/romance manga I read. It was brilliant. You won't be disappointed. There's plenty of romance and drama along with a refreshing mix of humor. Once again, a strong female lead!

Yes, another of my dear fantasy/comedy/romance mixes. The art is freaking adorable when it goes chibi. I found it incredibly hard to read without smiling like an idiot. Plus and Hak and Yona's relationship...gah just love each other already, kay?
