A2O- All the (Other) HARLEQUINS (& ish) I've read

Read & Rated List #2: These are other romances I've read written in the Harlequin style (may be actual HARLEQUIN, but I'm including other publishers). Stories on this list will include mid rated (IMO). Many seek to reinforce the fallacy that, despite RL statistics, BBV (Bed Before Vows) and superficial lust regularly become eternal love and that premarital pregnancies are a reliable way to a lasting relationship. It’s sad, really.
5 chaps (3*)- The hero is a career oriented man with no woman sense, but he is about to marry in to a well to do family. The heroine is the landscaper hired to design the garden for the wedding. When the heroine's vacation pal gets sick, the hero's fiancee inserts herself in the trip, and then disappears in a yachting accident. Distraught, the hero accepts the comfort of the heroine's arms, but it isn't going to stop there.
One shot (3*) - A poor nurse's kindness to a stray kitten brings her to the attention of a rich doctor and he's the one to treat her when a grave illness threaten's her life. With no one to take care of her, he takes responsibility and takes her and the kitten into his home while she recovers. Super sweet.
