I know...i know the tag says shoujo but there's some really nice useful cooking going on in every chapter!! Trust me, you'll find out when you start reading it.

Very very informative!! Igarashi sensei takes you on a mesmerizing slice of life journey to Ichiko's little forest. The moment i started reading, i totally fell in love with it!! Although i must say, this is not everyone's cup of tea. It's NOT only about cooking, but also about living & surviving in a little cold countryside forest and cherishing each and every moment with food!

Don't read it if you can't handle yaoi/shounen ai. But if you are an avid fujoshi & food manga lover like me then i highly recommend this one!!

Don't get fooled by the josei & romance tag. Food & cooking is just as much the focus here as the romance!!

Ancient but CLASSIC!! Highly recommended!! A must read for cooking manga readers!! It mainly focuses on chinese cuisine. I would also recommend watching the anime AFTER reading the manga. I watched the anime 1st. But I think if had read the manga 1st I would have enjoyed it more.

Another classic!! Has different types of cooking. So, anyone can enjoy it!! And whatever you do, please do NOT watch the anime. The subs are that good & you'll miss out a lot of information (no offense to sub group!! Still, I am sorry to say this but it's the truth!!). But if you must, then please watch it AFTER reading the manga. That way, you'll be able to enjoy it even if you miss some of the info.

Typical cutesy shoujo WITH yummy simple bentou recipes. No, I am not joking. There is some really easy yet useful cooking going on here. Try it yourself!

Delicious detailed descriptions of different types of food!! There is little to no cooking here. So it's not for those who are looking for solely cooking mangas. But it's still very informative, funny & enjoyable read .

I have already watched the anime & loved it! Waiting for more chapters of this awesome food manga!! I will write a proper review after I have read at least 3-5 chapters.

Ok...honestly out of all the mangas in this list this might be the one which has the least amount of cooking in it. There's mainly desert here. Nothing else. If you like slow-placed relaxing manga, cute babies & deserts then THIS is for you!!
