ok hear me out.. the characters were all deeply flawed yet they all had these human intentions. ayumi who knew already at the start ootani wasn't truly in love with her yet still asked him out bc a little part of her wanted their familiar companionship like before; ootani and his hesitations and dilly dallying; tatsuki and his quiet watchful gazes who stumbles when ootani's attention actually sharply crystallises towards him
