- Morally dubious

Seriously well written and gripping from start to finish. If you don't mind reading about morally gray/dubious characters, give this a go. No one is given the luxury of being able to experience safety behind plot armor; bad decisions are punished; BS and bad behavior is called out, and those who don't quit it are greeted with merciless consequences.
