josei & shoujo that could make me cry

pretty sure this has been completed. it’s absolutely beautiful and the story is largely influenced from the greek myth of hades and persephone’s forbidden love. this manhua captures the folk tale effortlessly and while it isn’t as long as other manhuas, it still manages to make the flow of the relationship feel natural and not forced. bruh... a MUST read.

WHEN I TELL YOU I WANTED TO PUNCH THE MAIN CHARACTER’S FAMILY... I MEAN IT. i’m usually opposed to violence, but they crossed MULTIPLE lines. this manga is absolutely TANTALISING. i wanted to read it in one go and searched for the raws and novel everywhere. the plot and characters are unique and the art is so captivating.

this is so cute lol. it’s not like the typical reincarnation books. the MC just wants to vibe in a cottage in the outskirts of the country running a manga café lol. the love interest is also so adorable. although i can already tell i’ll hate the villainess lmao she is one of those “i’m a b*tch for absolutely no reason” kinda people.

the king of hell is a lazy guy who runs away from work? and she’s been assigned to him? (spoiler) and they get ENGAGED on accident? (spoiler end) this is such a wild ride honestly. i was really pissed off in the middle because i wanted them to get together so bad but they’re just... NOT GETTING TOGETHER. it’s frustrating, but only because of how good it is.

this is a short-ish shoujo!! usually shoujos are SUPER long with a beach arc, sickness arc, childhood-friend-third-wheel arc and whatnot. but this is devoid of that but. it's just a cute romance between a hot introvert that skips class & a straight A student who is a perfectionist. it's adorable!!! even though it's short it doesn't feel rushed at ALL.

iconic. so, so very iconic. ellie is, simply put, a fucking pervert. she thirst tweets about this dude & ends up (dun dun dun) dating him ?!,?.? super funny, very cute and entertaining: this is such a nice shoujo. tbh, if i were ellie i would be super scared of dating that popular a guy, but that shows how whipped she is for him (and how much he loves her oof.) they're adorable.
