I've recently watched Doukyuusei and I feel in love with the characters, art, and story. The movie is not too old (came out in 2016), but I'm not sure why I waited until know to give it a go. I loved it regardless. Sajou's and Kusekabe's love was realistic, wholesome, and outright adorable! After watching the movie, I immediately came here to see where their relationship was headed. It's amazing watching them grow together; you can just tell they love each other so much!
This is a side story to Nakamura Asumiko's manga "Occupational to Beloved." I actually read Occupational to Beloved first, got confused about a couple of the stories, and then started to read Sora to Hara. This allowed me to understand the characters' background a lot more. It's cool to see that all the characters are connected, and I'm glad to see Hara-sensei find love.
Multiple stories. Got confused with the timeline, but overall the relationships were beautiful and awfully cute.
Yo, this was the most hilarious manga I've in a while. Every chapter (maybe even every page) gets you crackling. These BFFs are all so cute and funny. Big idiots too XDD. It's fun reading about their idiotic journey to fulfilling manhood, only to end up falling in love with each other. Will def read again for another good laugh (man this is just my kind of humor)!
It's a very realistic story of two 32-year-old men that have been a couple for more than a decade. I love Mikuriya's honest, straightforward, and hilarious character, which balanced out Kusaka's down-to-earth and sarcastic personality. This manga is very realistic, for it shows the "toned down, but loving" relationship between the two. They're still awfully cute, and the way they solve problems together only makes their bond that much stronger.
These two characters are very gentle with one another; although ichigaya did have some ulterior motives, nothing was forced onto oze. Oze openmindedness led him to the realization in that he can come to love Ichigaya. I really like these characters; they're so cute together. Very wholesome, and I very much need more high school BL manga like this.
This is just gonna be a simp review about Azuma lulululul. Azuma is SHO CUTE omg. He gave off so much top energy in the beginning of the manga and I swear I thought he was gonna be the top. But once Sano had those dreams about him, my spidey senses were like "OH BOI, MA BOI AZUMA'S GONNA BE THE UKE!" It took me by surprise at first, but DAMn is he cute. He's adorable. It made me want to dominate him ngl. Ma GOSH. He erotic-cute, if you know what I meannn.
Man, I love this manga. It was so down-to-earth; super funny too. Very realistic, and I love the dynamic between the two. I don't have a problem with age gaps. Old man Seiji is very cheerful and lax, while Shin is loyal and sho cute for such a big guy omg. Also, crushing on one person for 10 years is a oof (at least his love came true!). Overall, I'm 100% happy with how their relationship grew and boy are they lovey dovey :333
BWAHAHA SHIO IS SUCH A TROLL. I love his character OMG. He's super straight forward, observant, blunt (there's also a unique factor that's hard to explain). He could be an asshole too LOL. The events leading up to their confession was quite interesting because Miya (he's such a big, adorable baby, I swear) is pretty keen to certain emotions and he understands that Shio gets embarrassed easily and that he can't express his more vulnerable emotions, like love. Nonetheless, this story wasn't cliche
Personally, something about this manga hits all the right buttons. It has bondage, which I absolutely LOVE (I'm a rope bunny btw ^3^). SAFETY and CONSENT was present, and that is always a plus. The respect both characters, Rui (uke and rope artist) and Notari (seme and yakuza), makes me gush my love for both of him. Notari is big sweet doggo omg. But jokes and funsies aside, something about this manga deeply connected with how I feel a lot of the time: the lack of love for oneself (so emotional)
