Collection of Great BL Reads

A intriguing plot with unreadable characters. This manga kept me on the edge of my seat till the very end. A BL that is thrilling and sexy at the same time is pretty refreshing.

Not a conventional piece of work I'd usually go for in terms of pacing of narrative and art style. This is more of a slow burn romance and I was slightly confused by the presence of other characters in the story at times. Nonetheless, something compelled me to read on till the end. I enjoyed how they used trains as a central motif of the narrative and the piece just exudes a very longing, wistful feeling.

I love how the story revolves around food. The seme is a masterchef and the uke is a master of sake and we see how their interaction unfolds in the setting of a homely Japanese diner. The art is very clean and pretty.

I like the narrative and art style! Features a noob actor who begins working as an assistant to a very established actor and they begin to have feelings for each other. The MC has a really good personality and is the type to protect his partner in the face of danger.

After the death of his family, MC relocated with his nephew to a new town where he meets the owner of a side dish restaurant and befriends him. I'm not usually a fan of stories with young kids, but I really liked how the kid brought the two characters together and bonded with the seme (who surprisingly shares a similar past with the kid). I also liked how the story portrayed such a multifaceted seme with a delicate and vulnerable side to him. The art is clean and pretty too.

Wow what a power bottom - confident and unabashed about his wants and needs. The concept of the story is interesting and the scenes nicely complement their increasingly intimate relationship. I am usually not a big fan of Megane characters but I love how their spectacles in this case added another dimension of sexiness to their scenes which was pretty hot.

A classic Yaoi piece. Photographer / Reporter gets dragged into the world of the mafia and underworld after pursuing a dangerous scoop. Very beautiful art, enjoyable plot and steamy scenes. One of the first few mangas that got me down the rabbit role of yaoi and remains one of my favorites till date.

Love this mangaka (the art is gives off a very refreshing feel). The story presents a young doctor relocating to a rural place by the mountains. There, he encounters a man who's antagonistic and aloof. Slowly, they begin to bond and confide in each other their past traumas and fears. A very sweet, and engaging narrative, great option for a chill read.

MC see can the red strings of fate and finds out that he's fated to a junior in school. He desperately tries to avoid this fate but realizes there's more to love than red strings and fate. I like the art, both the characters are very likeable and I thought the red strings element is really unique and refreshing.

Two guys with high libido get together and have threesomes with women. They gradually progressed into having sex with each other and slowly realise that they have fallen for each other. The art is nice, I like the narrative and backstory of the characters.
