I've been in a similar situation to violent guy so I understand how indefference in expressing feelings can be seen as inhuman, which further hurts the person being judgez even more

He was just too much to the ex which he didn't redeem himself for his wrong doings
I think he must have been abused or bullied or something as a kid. He was too violent and that's just a choice that he could've avoided which I didn't like about him
