lowkey? put this in the classical canon of bl. one of the best out there. romantic lead character arc that genuinely resolves. good pace. actually very trope-y but not overly cliche. author has fine tuned control of the emotional ebbs and flows. there’s also just a bit of a literary quality to this that’s rare to find in the genre.

STUNNING ART. Unique style, expressive and effective.
7.5/10
Well structured. Main relationship was a little bland. Follows multiple relationship arcs that examine lookism. My tastes lean towards flawed characters the author isnt interested in spoonfeeding me reasons to forgive ie main love interest. U might struggle w the romances in this case
ppl seem to hate the art style but they’re straight up wrong lmao. expressive bodies and faces w low stiffness. color palettes are eye catching and moody. mc is just ugly

A manwha depicting the shift of a relationship between two men, one a listless sex lover the other a grad student with his shit together, from friends with benefits to something more.
Surprisingly mature depiction the sexual and romantic development between two adult men that is refreshing for its lightheartedness and realism.
also… switch couple which is so so so wonderful shit like that rlly moves me
7/10
Good depth of characters, story, themes. Elements of sociological story telling. Explores intersections of love, identity, race, class, and attraction.
Docking points bc the author could have approached the some of the themes with more finesse. Kinda edgelord-y at times.

really interesting character designs. characters are messed up people doing messed up things, and it’s not that cringe (i find a lot of romance in manhwa cringey haha). i appreciate the uniqueness.
