KIRARA CHYANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
After re-reading it so many times, this is still one of my favorite manhwas out in the whole universe, and I feel like this BL manhwa is even a good start for beginners into the BL world, since it focuses much more on relationship developments. Edward and Justin (tapas English translated names) are just so cute together, they might be my favorite ship! Plus the art is so simple yet beautiful, and the illustrator managed to draw Justin so prettily, and Edward so handsome. I love his eyebrows omo
The fluffiest in fluff town plus dogs. Whotf doesn't like dogs?
Even though I'm always feel average about shorter series, especially mangas because of how short they develop the feelings, this one has a perfect balance of emotional development and sex. Due to the character's past, he finds himself unable to love and don't want anyone to love him due to being scared, but the MC manages to change his mind, not by the stereotypical way of having just sex then poof "he's in love", but talking it out, and waiting for him to come to his feelings.
I love this series and even a little yuri romance too~ though i wish it is a little more stretched out. Both characters have dark heavy pasts, so it take some time to tell their stories, but i would prefer it to be spread out rather than a few chapter chunks of flashback, but the romance is just so cute and everyone has a happy ending~ hooray
I thought it was an angsty one, but surprisingly, it's super slice of life with abit of spice. I love the art style, and especially the pretty seme, muscular uke pairing. It's a short read, and the plot is good (not overwhelmingly good) but it's a feel good type of plot,
At the start, I wasn't too fancy on the whole high school violence and bullying all these, but as the story goes on, the plot is so good and I love how they reveal the MC Love's past. They make him so mysterious and all. The ending was a real feel good type. Though if you're looking for something romantic and fluffy, this one doesn't have much romance or fluff scenes, but it's more of usinh love to conquer fears.
I don't know if I should put this in favorites, but I did enjoy the ride (as much as there's so much plot twist and evil shit that I wanted to kms and how much all the characters are fucked up) but I do admire the author's work in planning everything out and unfolding each character.
It is abit on the heavier side based on the plots, but the process of reading it is not boring at all. In fact, this is one of the manhwas that is paced really well (which I think is very important- nothing felt rushed, nothing felt too slow either. It makes you really enjoy reading it) It contains manipulative elements, but not all manipulation done by one of the characters, Jinsol is bad. Both of them have their reasons and you would not know who to hate when all is revealed.
