I love this couple, takes a while for them to get together but it's worth it

guy has anxiety over eating in front of people after his adoptive brother was a dick to him about it throughout his childhood. as a result of this, all his coworkers think he's unsociable and weird as he never joins them. one day, he is in a park eating a homemade rice ball, and two brothers with a large age gap ask him to teach them how to make the rice ball.

trying to explain this is hard as shit but this one is soo good

dude transfers to new school, he has a really intimidating face tho so he can't make any friends. but there's a guy who doesn't find his face scary??? they become friends, but then the dude is a dick to the guy with an intimidating face, but intimidating face dude has a crush on him at this point....super awkward. then dick dude gets into an accident and loses his memories - the first person he sees when he wakes up is intimidating face guy, and he assumes they're best friend

guy loses his family in a car crash and is left to care for his sister's son. they move to the beach for a fresh start, where they meet a shop owner who takes an interest in the uncle.
this is so sweet, it's a shame it's a short one

dude transfers schools so often he's perfected a fake smile to get along with people no matter where he is. he bumps into the school's "scary guy" or whatever nickname they gave him idk, who has a scar across his face, wow edgy. anyway, the guys sees straight through his fake smile. they become friends and oop gay
